The HL7 eStability message captures information relevant for the drug stability testing process. This testing is required as a component of the drug regulatory process. It verifies the correctness of a manufacturer’s claims related to the stability - the ability to be stored over time without losing its therapeutic effectiveness - of a product.

The XForm Templates (xform_templates.zip), save the .zip file and extract it into a folder. Open the “Xform_Templates” folder, open the “Stability_XForm” folder, open the 2nd “Stability_XForm” folder, open the “Stability” folder, open the “XForms” folder, and open the file “stabilityForm.xhtml” in IE or Firefox. The XForm and Input Tool (.NET) environments are dependent on what version you are using, and what version of IE you have. Windows 7 does not allow you to change there environments. It was decided that the groups time would be better used working on the IG, developing the schematron (business rules), and stating the FDA Guidance. There are other ways to create a valid eStability XML file (e.g., XMLSpy, notepad,...)
